And, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your well wishes and cards. I especially want to thank Fern for his part in bringing it to everyones attention. And, to Kelly for her card.

Now, here's how it went down. I went out into the garden and picked some cucumbers and tomatoes on Saturday. Went I got back to the house, I started to spray them off with the water hose. It was then that I felt a heavy weight on my chest.
I finished my chore then went inside and sat down for a while. After a few moments, I started to feel a little better and we, Nancy and I, got ready and we went to out g'grandson's 1st. Birthday Party.

Later that night the pressure returned and for a while I considered going to the emergency room. But, it went away and I waited until monday to see my family Doctor. He sent me to the Hospital for test and I stayed there until 2:00pm today. Then they transported me from Havre de Grace to St. Joseph hospital in Towson.

When I got there I started to feel like I'd wandered into a slaughter house. These people run an assembly line in the administration of doing those Heart Catherazations. Two woman and a burley armed man had me off the gurney and onto the operating table befor I knew what was happening. In the meantime, a oriental Doctor named Wang had me sign a save and hold harmless consent form and all the while I see images of wrecked and dumped Wang Computers on a pile and I was lying buck nekked on top.

Almost as soon as the women had finished shaving the area for the incision, the good doctor announced that I could relax. he didn't find any blockage. I was number 27 that had undergone the same surgical proceedure today. I went to a recovery room where they helt me for about 2 hours. My son Dan came and drove me back home.

Friends, It's been an ordeal but the people that looked out for me were as good as could be found. All in all, I underwent stress test, heart necular imaging, X-rays and the Cath. And, all tested Negative. I still don't know what it was unless it was a virus. But, from all I've been told, it's not my heart.

I have to hit the sack now. I'm very happy but tired and sore in the right groin area. So, thanks again. Rest easy........gfp

Welcome home sir Fern. For what it's worth My wife Donna went through the same thing last Monday night. They put her through every test they could find and in the end found nothing. Now 10 days later all symptoms are gone.
I'm just happy as a clam to hear your worst problem is being tired.
Rest well, and do what we did, celebrate the clean bill of health your heart got.

Who ever maps out their medical travel plans? Here they wanna look at your heart so they go in thru the groin! Hey waitaminit! Well don't feel bad - in Australia they use suppositories for everything from headaches to seasickness. (they DO work but that's not the point) I mean how many kids would get away with it if they got caught in the act and told the cop they were looking for her homework? Cmmmmmmon! :)
Glad to hear the negative tests - now break's over so back on yer head. :)

Alright, good to hear it was nothing serious. Just one of those weird things I reckon. Thanks for letting us know right away how you were doing. Sounds like they had you going in a three ring circus! I know you are glad to be like home, no place like it. Get a good nights rest now, and we will all see you tomorrow. Hugs go out to Nancy and you both. We love y'all. :)
