Nighty Night Y'all, Open House Tomorrow

Trying to stay on a schedule so we can get up Monday morning for school. Tomorrow evening is Open House. I sure hope she gets a nice teacher. There is one Fourth grade teacher that I don't particularly want her to have. Last year she would always pick on Shelby about her rolling bookbag. Half the dang school has them, but she would tell Shelby she couldn't be having one as she put her in the truck. She was too cowardly to address ME. Its the dang bus students that aren't supposed to have them, not the car riders...uhhhhhhhhhgghh!!!

Shelby wears her feelings on her sleeve and so it would make her cry everytime that mean lady would say something to her. The dang principal and the vice principal would be out in the mornings letting kids out of vehicles and never say a thing, so what gives her the right to be so dang mean???

Okay, she is NOT going to have that lady as a teacher, there are four other teachers, and surely she will get one of those.

Nighty night to al. Keep good thoughts and good wishes for my Shelby that she gets good friends and a good, kind teacher for the fourth grade. :)

Isn't it amazing how some absolute airheads can keep a teaching job? They give the real teachers and school a bad name. Kid bullies are enough for a kid - those faculty dolts should find a job that fits em. Like a crossing guard at a drag race or something. :)

Best wishes to your Fourth Grade year Shelby! In
Indiana that's the year they teach all about
"Indiana" the state.. Do they do that in GA? My
son Micheal will be in 3rd grade.. I can't believe
it.. our school system is in such a mess .. I have
no idea what will go on.. this year.. If only this
school board would resign and the superintendent
disentregrate into some other country.. one could
only hope!!

Yep, they sure did. Last year they learned of all the Indians that used to live here in Ga, how they lived, where they lived, all that sort of thing. Then, everybody had to do a report on a famous person or place. They were given a list. We decided on a place, and visited that place. We went to The World Of Coke! It was a lot of fun.

Shelby's school is a good one, for now. She doesn't go to any school in the county we live in. She goes in the next county over. I can't abide by the way these schools are managed over here, the influence of the "culture" ahem, would mortify me to say the least.

I figure by the time we get moved and she finishes elementary school, the area will have gone down hill somewhat and i will have to homeschool her. I think she wants that anyway, sometimes.
