Hi geo. How are you doing? I reckon I'm alright but I had a scare a few days ago. Thought my pony motor was on the fritz. Dr. said it was not bad and didn't have any blockage.

Now, with that said, it brings me to the point of your post. With all the things that can go wrong in a persons life, it seems senseless to be concerned over spelling. Usually, I spell fairly good. But, it was my job for goodness sake. I notice now, the further I get into retirement, the harder spelling is for me. So, I'm in no position to correct anyone. And, I hope folks will be tolerant of my mistakes. Therefore, I implore you to put it to rest and pretend every word you wright is writ corectitilly........gfp

MY APOLOGY to you geo.h.

When I mis-read your note, it sounded fake - like it was prepared to be too cute. I mis-read your note. Again, my apology.

You are a gentleman and a scholar Mr Dave, and a good man too.

I've never met anyone of any age that couldn't teach me something. Everybody you meet knows something you don't. Keep on teaching me Geo!

Who cares about spelling mistakes? I enjoy reading what people post here. I think that some people believe that it makes them look smarter to point out other peoples mistakes. Some of the smartest people that I have known in my life couldn't even read or write. Also know a few people with some pretty high up degree's that I never heard anyone accuse of being smart. Don't get me wrong, I think that people should get all the education that they can. Cause some people sure do need it.

I don't care if it's spelled right or wrong. Just keep posting.

Geo, As long as you can make you're self understood, it is no problem.
A little trick I have learned when I don't know how to spell a word is. I click on send mail, then type the word in the message box and click spell check. If the word I spelled is wrong it gives me several others to choose from. Some times I even spell it right, usually not. Then I copy it to where I want it and imediately forget the correct spelling. Well not allways, some times I do remember.
Dave <*)))><

Good morning. I hope you didn't take offense at my remark to Clod about Lerker spelling his name wrong. I enjoy you posts always. I was just aggravating Clod some. You don't owe us any apology.

Why you getting upset? So you can't spell. Big deal. You are not the first nor the last. Don't sweat the small stuff or small people.

Hi George....ah done care how ya spell it longs ah kin read' git outa the dang corner...yer standin' on ma foot!!!

Rather an interesting anecdote about spell check, which I only use on occassion, and not here.....seems as though my middle initial is of some concern...the suggestion is to change the "E", to an "I", that would certainly lead to a domestic dispute concerning the marriage licence......anyway....I am going to go on, happily making the mistakes I usualy do.... as I believe that if I were perfect, I wouldn't be here.....have a gooder, R."E."L.

My Yahoo bulk mail has a lot of good spelling but I dump it as often as possible. Good spelling is important to clerks because that is all they got going for them.

I will try to stay cool.

Here is what ya do Clod. You give us the Post Office phone number there along with your name. We will all start calling them from all over the country. Heck, even Burrhead might use his close relation with the white house occupants to pull some strings. If that don't work,we will all send you our mail, I know I get more than I want. You stay cool there.

Every day thou daffest me with some device, Iago;
and rather, as it seems to me now, keepest from me
all conveniency than suppliest me with the least
advantage of hope. I will indeed no longer endure
it, nor am I yet persuaded to put up in peace what
already I have foolishly suffered.
