I think you are having problems with the posts I made with music included. I am sorry to cause you problems, I will ty to remember to note music included in the subject line with any more posts like that that I make.
I use DSL and don't have any problems downloading any thing.
There are several things you can do to speed up you're computer. Others would be better at telling you what they are.
You're start up menue is one and you're browser chache is another.

Well I wasn't going to mention it, but ours freezes up too. Now we can sit there and wait for it to load if we have the time and it works ok, but usually we are just reading the posts and want to go on to something else and our computer takes for freakin ever to load the music, so we usually try to hit the "Stop Loading" button and get out of it. Nope, it'll freeze up ever time and not only do we get kicked offline but we end up having to completely reboot the computer.

We get an error message that "the connection has been reset by the remote server" and then get kicked off. Then we get a constantly returning error message that WAOL has caused a kernal error in DLL something or other. The ONLY way to get this one to go away is to reboot. Vic and I would also appreciate a warning on posts that contain music so we can choose whether to click on that thread/post or not. :)

I agree, A warning would be a big help.

I have roadrunner also and it freezes when I come on the posts with music.. so I am so appreciative that everyone puts music in the subject it helps me a great deal.

Often it takes time too wind up the spring in that thing. Give it some time before you push buttons. But if it wont play then your player could be the wrong one for that place the song was posted..Maybe the person posted real player and you have only Windows media player. You can reload both easy if you go to those sites by asking Google by the name real player or windows media. If yours dont work and hangs then reload. if that dont make you hear music ,call for the experts here.

mine has done that on the music posts also. Not every time but almost everyone. I do not have a clue why.

I wonder if AOL has found a way to mess things up?
