I recieved this in an email today. It was from a guy I was stationed with on the hospital ship Sanctuary in 1970. He had found my address on the Sanctuary homepage. I had not seen or heard from him in over 34 years. I had never seen this picture until today. He took it when my brother flew out to the ship on a medivac chopper. I am on the right. This was taken in Danang harbor Vietnam. I am extremly pleased to have this picture.

What a great photo! Thanks for sharing!

Ron, ar let me THANK YOU and your buddies for your service to us and our country. This is one American that DOESN'T forget our veterans. My grandfather flew with the FLying Tigers in WWII. I thank him and every veteran each and every time I have the chance to. We are so blessed to live in a free country.

P.S. I think the guy on the right is a cutie!

were not in the same Navy, you can go ask that Marine standing beside me if you want to. I wouldn't advise it tho, he is much harder to get along with than I am, bigger too:^)

I like that Marine,He looks like he can pick a postman up and toss him around like a ragdoll.
