In Vietnam. Those beers were not always good beers. Some tasted like a tumblebug fell in the brew.Anyhow I saved that label as A reminder of going home to the greatest country on the planet.TEXAS! Have a nice warm day you fine folks.

Yup i remember that stuff - I was once disciplined by being sent, with binocs and radio, to live in a tent by the river - wasn't long before a gook gal peeked in, we ultimately became great friends and she'd fetch such supplies - ever get sobered up in the act by a spotlight? I tell ya it works! You know how many guns were pointed at us? Woowee! We must have been a sight cuz they settled for the show - now all i have left is the hangover - i mean memories. But i'm here! Still! :)

Thanks for the momento, Clod. Just a thought...Memory boxes are really big around here for items such as you've been posting. Ever think about getting a memory box and putting all of these great items ina box and displaying then for all your friend, family and guests to see????

I mad a memory box for my husband for our 16th anniversary. His dad passed 10 years ago and I found his FFA jacket from HS, his HS ring, and HS annual. I was able to have the pciture in the annual scanned and reprinted and placed the jacket, annual, ring, and photo all in the box as a display. I even found a International Harvester toy tractor to add to it.

Hubby was very moved and shows everyone that comes over.

Just a though! I tould be great way to preserve and display some of these wonderful items!

EGH, this would work great for you too!

Thanks for all your service to our country! God Bless you and God Bless America :0)
