QUARTZ .EXE and WOW32.EXE have found a safe haven in my puter and I can't get to em..WHat can I do to rid myself of these bad eggs!!!?? WHat file should I look for as the names do NOT come up in file search..HELPPPP!!!

Thanx Ron for your quick response..did actually go to one after I wrote what I did and found a thingie on how to get rid of adware..went to Find..then entered regedit..did a search..and POPPED them puppies RIGHT AWAY..Have to be careful with the gave step by step guidelines and instructions..thanx anyways tho..huggs!

What you could do to keep those so called "spyware" programs away is installing a program that checks your comp and gets rid of those annoying programs. There is a big change that you have more "spies" on your comp without knowing it.

Download "Ad-Aware" and update and run it at least once per week and you'll keep spyware away from your comp.

Gerritt - what would you recommend is the best way to delete temporary files on C drive & not destroy cookies needed for PC functioning?
