NAME: John Kerry

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington, DC, worth multimillions.

Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement , CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant which I considered unsightly, in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam(as documented by the attending doctor). I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I? My book; VietnamVeterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I truly feel about the military. I deplore the military!

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

I ran for U.S.Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except that of a gigolo, by marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

As a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected.

My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $700 million.

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those Countries, although blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of Country.

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts.

PERSONAL I ride a Serotta Bike.

My Gulfstream V Jet, I call The Flying Squirrel.

I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche."

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

This IS just a joke, right? Surely someone with this kind of record doesn't actually think he would be a good person to be our Leader. Now don't ya'll go getting mad at me, I'm asking an honest question here. I don't follow all this politickin and such cuz I think it's all a buncha mud slingin from BOTH sides and I don't like that kinda behaviour. I'd much rather both sides tell me what they can do for me instead of trying to make the other side look bad. If this stuff is true then I didn't know about it but I'm surely glad someone sent it to me so I would. I didn't post this to get any kind of argument started here. We're ALL adults and SHOULD be able to discuss this as such. Thank-You to any and all who take the time to post an honest reply to this without the mud slinging or name calling : )

DD there should'nt be any insults or attacks around here but it never fails, there will be some. Most of the info in this Kerry attack is and outright lie.

There are a few fragments of truth but the way they are distorted turns them into a lie.

What you posted was part of the the topic of discussion this past week on 2 news shows. They investigated the attack on Kerry and others by *nameless* mass email smears.

Come to find out the GOP has assembled groups of party loyalist to stay on top of attacking any and every point of whatever Kerry says about any subject. The use of misinformation and outright lying is standard operation.

I do not expect the GOP to tell the truth about a democrat. Look at the way the Bush Team attacked John McCain.

To my way of thinking there has never been a more patriotic American than John McCain but somehow in the primaries the Bush team used his being a POW in Viet Nam to say he had gone crazy and lost touch with *normal* American values.

And again we hear from Ol' Burr. What took you so long? Spending a lot of time on the Kerry Misinformation Team these days?

Burrhead    Posted 08-05-2004 at 22:34:26       [Reply]  [No Email]
I been setting buckets under the drip line getting ready for the trickle down Bushonomics.

Yer jab about misinformation aint worth a response Dave. You mushroom Bushkovites have been kept in the dark and being fed BS so long yer misinformed enough for both of us.

RN    Posted 08-05-2004 at 17:37:51       [Reply]  [No Email]
Burrhead: 'the use of misinformation and outright lying is standard operation' to complete sentance should end 'for "liberal" Democrats'. Remember Al Gores '13 children a day killed by Guns'? And Fox news sunday morning calling him a lier by telling ages and criminal occupation of 'children'? Then next fridays Today show when he implicitly admitted being caught in the lie? The terms came out '12 young peolpe and teenagers'. Every Media person who quoted '13 children' was also shown to be a lier. Handgun Control was refered to by Democrats as 'Formerly credited source used by party for figures' although at time of speeches by Democrats the figures were supossedly sourced by State police in Maryland and Virginia(governors election-Kathleen Kennedy Townsend) or Justice dept/census/CDC/ for President election(Al Gore). A 'standard' operation is to feed a lie to cooperative media to print, then refer to the media report as true source, feed back to politician speech same lie. Other people who don't check then repeat lie -if questioned then quote /refer to another lieing source. Remember how many sources were refered to about U.S sources of Iraqi WMDs? Still haven't gotten any Credible, verifiable sources here. RN

Is this a Michael Moore script summary? Lets have details- dates, names. Should be credible, verifiable sources. Example-New York Times article by Jason Blair not the most credible, Congressional Record list of who votes for/against a bill more credible. Specific example this board? Burrhead - think about WMD thread, should we instead discuss Nubian goats compared to Boers? RN

Yeah that's our man alright.

Did you hear him on the news this mawnin.

Here's a clip

Prez Bush: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we," Bush said. "They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Texas    Posted 08-05-2004 at 04:39:57       [Reply]  [No Email]
Typical rhetoric there Doc. Wish I had time to pick that apart....

What you posted is akin to saying "He crapped his pants", without the total story which would include "when he was 6 months old".

I was just trying to show how both sides sling propaganda around like they are bible versus. Anyone can twist anything from anyone's life, including mine and yours to make you look like anti-American and a disgrace to mankind. It's the sick childish world we live in. Unfortunately there are enough simple minded, uneducated people around that will believe anything written to make a difference. (i.e., email Spam) If it weren't for gullible people there wouldn't be any Spam, nor would there be propaganda if everyone just stopped to think about what they were reading.

Just like the new Kerry bashing ad that just came out (that is condemned by McCain by the way). None of the 13 men in that ad served on the same boat with Kerry. Some were close by and supposedly saw his actions. But his crewmen stand by him. At this point I don't care anymore about either mans service record.

I have the utmost respect for any person who served in Viet Nam as well as the utmost respect for anyone who protested against the war. They are all people of convictions for whatever reason they may have and all are equal in my eyes.

There is one thing that I know for sure and that is that there are a lot of closet hippies in hiding now because it is now embarrassing for them to admit that they were part of the love generation. It has gone full circle as most things do and now it's chic' to be a hawk. Grandkids won't ever here about how they demonstrated to help end a farce of a war and to save lives. Does it not occur to any one who served in Viet Nam when they condemn the antiwar protesters of the 60's that perhaps if the war had gone on another year that they might not be here either or how many lives were saved by that so called anti-American attitude? And for what, do you believe that the outcome would have been any different? We were never there to win that war, just to liberate the South. The people who protested that war as well as this war love this country just as much as those who fight the wars but just value life more in my eyes.

Perhaps you can help me here because I'm not proficient on bible versus. What passages in the bible gave us (America) the right to dominate other peoples sovereignty? Will we keep taking down every country that does not treat there people humanely or will it just be the countries that have something we need? Such as oil. Why aren't we invading half of Africa? Oh yeah, we don't need elephants to keep our economy going do we? .......... follow the money!

There was a lot of disrespect for returning Vets and that was shameful to say the least, but it was a whole different mindset then that started as a movement of peace and love and turned ugly as is human nature, unfortunately.

Be true unto God and yourself.

p.s. sorry about the long post. Today I had to try and explain to my daughter just what it was that Iraq did that made us declare war on them and why it was different with Iraq than with other countries that we don't bother with. The question caught me by suprise and was actually harder to explain to her than it should have been. That was the sad part.

Doc-Explain Iraq? U.N. resolution 1441 perhaps? Unfinished business from Kuwait liberation? Saddam possibly going to pass out some nasty weapons to terrorists as Putin said he ordered his intelligence people to relay info to U.S.? General principle of eliminating Saddam before he killed more Kurds and Shia? Not so subtle hint to the area what could happen if they misbehave and get U.S annoyed (check Lybia)? Did you cover any of these points? RN
