Well it has got bad just north of me. Level III Evacuations of homes in a canyon. Lot of homeowners told to get out now! The lightning storms have started many fires and now a bunch of homes are in danger. There tring to get all the Helacopters they can for drops right now. Last time it went thru there they lost 15 homes. The fire is just out of Tonaskit, Washington. Got a bunch burning East of me on the Reservation also. We are OK so far none closer than 6 miles or so. The dry lightning is supposed to go on far several more days too! Mark H.

There haveing Smoke Jumpers go in on one fire tonight. Police set up a Staging Area for getting people out. So far allmost 23 fires on the Reservation in lest than 48 hours. 4-5 fires 40 miles or so to the North of me. We have lucked out so far at my place but keeping a look out for strikes. Heavy clouds all around up but not right over head yet. The fire count is just in my area. I think there have been over 153+ fires in the last 2 days on this East side of the mountian. Crews are getting streached thin now around here. I will give a up/date tomorrow. Mark H.

Prayers that everyone get's out safely Mark and that no one loses their Home to these fires. Also for a drenching rain too : ) And for all the folks out there fighting these fires May God Bless You for putting your lives on the line for strangers, the same holds true for anyone in our Military or who selflessly puts themselves in danger each and everyday in the line of duty to help another human being in need. You are storing up many untold Blessings and I hope you are repayed for them a hundred fold while you can still enjoy them but always remember to offer up Thanks for them too.

Just be careful and take care of yourself. I know I don't respond to the updates much, but I do read them, just be careful, it sounds so scary there.
