Speaking of possums reminds me of the time I had a
problem of possums getting into my barn into my
feed. I'd go out there in the nite and catch
them.. they're also not a good thing to be around
horses, because they carry some kind of disease
which I can't remember at the moment. Anyways.. I
snuck up on this possum one nite.. flicked the
lites on and whack with the shovel.. got him! I
carried him out to the trash barrel and deposited
him wanting to incarcerate him due to this disease
thing going on at the time.. The next day I go out

Our old neighbor was sailing home thru the canyon one nite and flash-whack - he'd hit a bobcat! Well sadly he saw it was dead so tossed it into the back of his jeep and continued on. As he pulled into his yard, the thing started coming around so he quickly got it into a welded rebar cage and THEN wondered what to do with the thing. (game wardens eventually came and tranked it and took it back to the canyon) But when i saw it, that thing hit the cage wall with everything bared, and he was NOT pleased with his new home. They had to feed him a live chicken every day. Boy for a small cat, he bluffed real good. :)
