'92 chrysler, anyone know...

...where the heck the flasher for the turn signals is??? The manuel says it's in the lower right side of the instrument panel, near the fuse panel. I'm here to tell you, it's not in plain sight like the old vehicles used to be! I can hear the flasher for the hazard lamps and they are side by side, BUT, it sounds like it's coming from behind the radio! No, the manual doesn't get anymore specific than that. Have any of you changed one of these? Almost forgot, it's a '92 Chrysler New Yorker.

If that is where it is, I have just one question.....
Who designed this thing? didn't they think it would ever wear out?

I changed one once on a chiseler, bout the same vintage. There was a mounting bracket under the dash for it, but it was not there! Had to take off the lower dash panels to find it. It was hanging in there by the wire which was tooo short to reach that pretty little computer designed bracket. A real knuckle skinnen job. Good Luck
