Hey I just figured WNY decided that summer wasn't all that important and just skiped to fall. At least most of my garden is doing something. How's your summer been? How's your wife's grandparents doing. Was up your way a few times this "summer" as we have family there. Hope all is going well for you and your family. Is your daughter going back to St. Bonnie's?

Good to hear from you. My summer was pretty good, but it never felt like summer. Sounds as if your garden did better than mine. I'm only getting tomatoes, and they're only so-so at that! I have a small orchard and apples are everywhere! Stop by this fall and get some!

Thanks for asking about wife's grandparents. They are grumpy and crotchety - but at 97, any temperament is a bonus. We have them in an apartment-like setting (adult living) for the summer. Still trying to figure out what to do with the beach property.

I sincerely hope you and your family are well and happy. Take care of all those animals!

Well glad to hear all is well, I have all kinds of tomatoes if they'd just turn red! Apples, cool, let me know when they are ready.

At 97, I quess you have a right to complain a bit. My dad's 76 and mom's 67 and they do a preety good job on being grouchy, but I'd take it all just to be near them. They are great.

By the way, what do you do with your orchard? Sell apples? or just for pleasure?
