Last night before bed, I let the dogs out one last time. And who did I see on the deck ?

My Toad!!!!!!

yep, he was hopping around on the deck, exactly one week after I whacked him with the weedwhacker. He had a cut on his back that was healing good and the cut on his leg still has a scab on it. I checked him out and he was hopping on both legs just fine.

So have a drink for the Toad, he deserves it.

Now you can all live alittle easier now, and have a festive weekend.

Good for Toady! And good for you, for having worried about him! (her? it?)

Always makes you feel bad when you do something like that. Glad this one had a happy ending. I've got a feeling those big old toads are pretty tough and long as you don't run over them.
My father would never mow the hay until he was sure that the bobolinks had fledged and flown away.
