Protesters in the Phillipines

Yes, they are protesting the war in Iraq. Not for the usual reasons but because their government caved in to the terrorists demands and they had to leave Iraq where they were making a good living and come home.
Oh, the irony.

Was in the Army back in 63, stationed in France. Us military was to pull out of France soon. We were moving munitions from storage in France to lacations in Germany. At the same time our outfit (engineers) were building munition storage facilities in Germany. Working with our crew was this French man. Hard worker and very seldom said anything but he did speek good english. One day he said. Our government is bowing down to the commies ad making the US leave and there is no way that I will be able to earn the same amount of money when the US is gone. He went on to tell us how the presence of the US military had made his country prosper.
