This is one radio system, that is all they say it is....clear, and very good. Check it out.

I have a friend who owns one and loves it. But he is a true audiophile with a large disposable income...dual income plus a previous retirement, no kids, no farm, no pets.

My wife and kids have all heard them in person and told me they're very very impressive. But like the others have said, as much as I'd like to get one that's just too much to spend especially since I can't hear a lot of fine details over the permanent ringing in my ears anyway!

i agree about the priceing, way far too much. about that ringing in your ears. i had that for many years. i read a article about diet and different maladies. i stopped eating large amounts of processed meats. (bacon, lunch meats, the like) the ringing has all but gone away! (FWIW)

Interesting, thanks. In my case, it is from years around big field artillery has been about 15 years since I've been near a howitzer, but the ears have never recovered.

They are VERY nice sounding, but the last time I checked(pre-CD)the Unit, base and portable power pack came to like $1300&chg. Not justifiable for my meager budget or listening habits.

Prices have come way down apparently,Wave radio/CD unit now retails from appx $350-$500.Still too much $$ for a clock radio matter how it sounds :)
