Seems I have a good population of skunks on the place this year. They're digging in the yard around the house and I see two or three most every evening. Don't mind killing them but for obvious reasons am reluctant. Anyone know any tricks for getting rid of these things without trippin their trigger and makin a mess?

Bill, they are after the grubs in your lawn. I wonder if a good heavy spreading of lime would stop them, wouldn't hurt the lawn anyway.

Why not get up a car load of them and bus them over to the Carolinas and Georga where they've all the red ant problems. Them Skunks could feast for days, months and years on end.

find out where they are denning up and throw mothballs in there, don,t leave anything for them to eat around like cat food or anything.they leave, if that fails wait them out or get the 12 gauge.

Thanks for the info toolman. I did'nt know moth balls would run off skunks too. They do real good for copperheads and cotton mouth.

Still have'nt seen the Friday Report. Have you seen him post anywhere I might have missed??
