Looks like NOAA calls for it to get to the U.S. by the end of the week.
I hope not, I don't think Florida needs any more right now.

Just came back from checking on uncle Toņo and aunt Luisa, they live across the street from me. Wanted to make sure they have had breakfast. He came back home on sunday from a two day stay at the hospital, suffered a mild stroke, he's doing better but still too weak. Then there's titi Luisa..trying to care for him but her legs wont cooperate..she has diabetes and high blood pressure. Normally he's the one caring for her..she can barely walk, her legs are in bad shape and she had a foot fracture about two months ago. So I woke up and went over to check..found her 'laying' on the kitchen sink trying to rinse a pan to make oatmeal. They both are 83..and the tropical storm has them scare to death..saying that her son should be there with them doing the 'storm preparations'..I kept quiet you know? five minutes later says same thing again..at this point i tell her "i'm here titi, don't worry, he must be really busy.." to what she answered with words i'm not gonna post here..heheh
Just told me she has some broken windows in the back of the house..i guess i gotta check on that too..maybe the handyman in residence can do something about it when he's back home. So far it's breezy, and funny enough, sunny but with very dark skies. I'll go out now to buy drinking water and some other stuff, but i have a strong feeling that the storm will move a notch up north..would be better though..if it moved all the way north.:-(

Red Dave, Ron, and the rest...thanks for thinking about us.

Patria the latest predicted track shows it going north of you. You could still get some weather from it though. Keep us posted please. We worry about you and all folks in the path of this thing.
