...do I get through writing about Charley than we've got Frances. Yesterday they said she was going to hit Jacksonville. This morning, she's going to hit us. Reckon another night's sleep might change the outlook again?

People of Florida gather here, let's link our virtual hands together and and say a prayer. We may not be able to survive this one.

Patria and Gerrit..I'm so glad she missed you.

Cindi, I have been and will continue to pray that our all powerful and merciful God will send that storm out into the Atlantic and away from you all and the eastern coast. I pray for this in Jesus name, Amen.

I will keep you in my prayers for your safty and those around you.
I was born in Fl and pop was in the Navy until he retired. I remember being so scared about storms, but not really understanding why.

Adding prayers and good thoughts.. Oft times, life is just not fair.. Still, we survive.

Cindi, I'll join in that prayer, and I think we stand a good chance of it working.

Still, it wouldn't hurt for you to batten down the hatches and head for high ground, just in case ;)

You're right, Red Dave..then again one gets drained of any good ideas leaving space for only 'what if' kind of thoughts...but there is always room for prayers..here's my hand.
My son and family are in Fernandina Beach.

Hunker down, Cindi.
I just saw some pictures of what Charley did to the Flywheelers place in Fort Mead. Not pretty.

Les, Fort Meade is just north of us. Maybe eight miles north of where we weathered the storm and twenty miles or so north of Wauchula.

It's funny, but Jenny I went to Fort Meade last Friday just to find a place with less destruction, a place with electricity and traffic lights, a place that was somewhat normal...to get out of the battle zone for a while. That tell you anything? (smile)

Thanks Len.

Gotta go to work guys. Have a good one.

Well good luck Cindi! All you Fla. folks will be in my thoughts. Don't see how you do it must be like living in a shooting gallery year after year.

August broke records for hurricanes in history timelines...Prayers coming for all of Fla and other areas that might get hit.
