We are looking for ideas to generate an income from our own home.Husband is disabled and is restricted in a lot, I can do a lot of things but not lifting or heavy machinery. We grow herbs, I make cards and we have garage sales, we are looking for other ideas, we live in the town. Thanks.

There are books which list various home income ideas"SOME" of which are pretty good for ideas. Also "SOME" of the "Make Money at home" companies actually are pretty decent. The problem is weeding out the chaff from the wheat.Depending on your area, local disability service organizations often have work centers and/or trainng centers where physically/mentally disabled persons can work at their best level and earn some family income.Local Cntr here has contracts with different businesses to do "piecework" assembly of electronic parts for Rockwell Int'l,assemble sample kits of tile and aluminum siding chips, package window/door hardware for 2 local plants of nationally known window/door mfgs and numerous other things. At these type centers, pay is not big,but they are geared to the needs and abilities of their clients.Your Human/Social Services Dept should have info.......Good Luck
