a pot belly cast iron wood stove, it belonged to my grandfather. The only markings I can find with out sanblasting it so far is it has Columbus Ga. on it . it has two removable plates on top and one trap feed door and one removable coals tray.

Hi, I to have a pot belly stove from the columbus iron works. They were a foundry in Columbus Ga. and were in business from the 1800's until the 1960's. Hope this helps. Dennis

TO, There is a pace in Columbus called Columbus iron works or foundry but i think its iron works and i bet thats the maker of the stove. James(Ga)

Try finding or checking out Columbus Ga.'s history. Have found info on anscester's home community's when doing family research.
