Political ... That is the question.

No William Shakespeare here just some political thoughts without choosing sides.

Are you conservative, moderate, or liberal? Personally, I don't care. I can rant all day long about my political conviction and why I believe my positions are right and justified. I'll bet most of you can argue your positions too. Actually, I hope you can argue them with passion. That tells me you are informed and have an opinion.

Being informed is wonderful. Be careful where your information originates though. Get more than one reputable source before you form an opinion. Lots of liers out there trying to deceive you.

Being opinionated can be considered a curse. Me ---- I think it is a benefit. Your opinions and convictions make you who you are (dont forget morales too). What better way for those around you to know WHO YOU ARE than to listen to your opinions. No guesswork there. No misunderstandings either.

What is Peanut talking about? Peanut wants to encourage anyone who has not made a voting decision to start paying attention to the political world. Become informed. Form an opinion. Stand behind your convictions. No one in this country should feel bad about voting Dem/Rep/Indep. JUST VOTE in November. We have a lot riding on this Presidential election (dont we always?) Please vote. Please vote.

If you want to share your political convictions with me, I think that is great. I love a good debate. Like I said in a post the other day ... I spend a lot of time arguing with that idiot that stares back at me in the mirror.

Have a great holiday weekend.

You go ahead with any humor you want IMO.
When my mother passed the person aranging for moms funeral said " you guys have been the funniest bunch I have ever worked with", to which my brother said "Hey,we always joked and laughed with mom, untill its over, then we'll greive. The best part of this board is the kidding.

Hi Peanut, I heartily agree with obtaining info.from many sources. Most of all do not rely solely on mainstream "news" media outlets.

Storm chaser    Posted 09-03-2004 at 14:42:34       [Reply]  [Send Email]
My My My it feels good to be able to post again, though I,am sure I will be banned within a strike of a second I would like to leave one message I should say. Are you all talking county again? Are perhaps talking stupid again? This board is for the do do heads I would say. County folks gosh as stupid as you can get them

Whof Arted    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:58:18       [Reply]  [No Email]

Stormchaser, the personal rancor reflected in that remark I don't intend to dignify with comment. But I would like to address your general attitude of hopeless negativism. Consider the lilies of the field or... hell! Take at look at me here as your paradigm of hope.

Dieselrider    Posted 09-03-2004 at 14:57:38       [Reply]  [No Email]
Seeing as everyone in the USA lives within a county.... you just insulted yourself. Also if you don't like COUNTRY (that's C.O.U.N.T.R.Y.)people why are you here anyway? Be off you self insulting nave!

Greg    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:57:19       [Reply]  [Send Email]
Except Louisiana, parishes not counties.

Peanut    Posted 09-03-2004 at 20:18:25       [Reply]  [No Email]
Spent a few mosquito nights in Orleans Parish. And New Orleans City Jail. Not a fun place.

EgH, this ('guy'???)has a similar m.o. as a troll that annoyed folks here before.

Peanut    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:05:48       [Reply]  [No Email]
I am not annoyed. I think I just touched a nerve on someone. Hopefully the "Storm Chaser" will post back so we can debate politics, county, country, global warming, Coke Vs. Pepsi, or the price of gravel in NE Missouri.

Bring it on Storm Chaser. Me thinks Storm has been hit by too much hail.

toolman    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:26:49       [Reply]  [No Email]
you got gravel in N.E.Missouri, are you sure its real gravel.lol

TomBoy    Posted 09-03-2004 at 14:47:03       [Reply]  [No Email]
What was that?

Peanut's post was just fine. Yours was just odd.

~Lenore    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:17:44       [Reply]  [No Email]
I remember Storm Chaser!!
He/she was here before;
I remember he must just post and not read any of the replies.
No matter how many of us said this is a
COUNTRY BOARD not a county board,
it never changed his county smears.
Me thinks it's best to ignore the posts.

Len....NY    Posted 09-03-2004 at 15:33:48       [Reply]  [No Email]
I think your right Lenore. That post and run seems to indicate he covers a lot of ground and checks back on his handiwork. That little imp
