Was the killing of these Children today because of what Russia did to there country eariler? Man this is a conflec that is real hard to understand. They (Rusians) used long range Artilery to destroy there city including the women and children to the tune of around 50,000 people was this any worse than what they did today? These wars are so hard to understand and find a end too. Read this history of the Chechen War. There probley is a lot more to this then just what was said in this History report of the war. Mark H.

Did you read this? <<>><>> Islamic Dagestani Rebels <<<<<<<<<<<< These guys just grabbed a school in russia and held children hostage. They made demands to get prisoners released or they would kill all the children. If they think that is a good way to do up a battle then I do not think this is the work of men but of cowards.

i have listened to margolis up here before on tv mark and i don,t think id be inclined to go along with anything he says , i know there is certainly alot more to what is going on over there and many are correct is what they say the russians are doin and have done , but i think margolis would set down and have dinner with bin laden .not my kind a guy.

I am not saying what they did was right it was totaly wrong!! I am tring to figure why a group of people would do this!! I see the Russians killed a whole bunch more of there women and children eariler and it seems it is contioning to happen over and over again. The Rusians killed 100,000 of there men women and children allready will this ever stop? Mark H.

Russia and Chechen conflicts go back to Tsarist times, Stalin also caused grief, post WW2 communists not much better. Russia loss in Afganistan gave some hope to oppressed- got mostly freed 1st effort in 90s, Russians came back and did some more killing. Attacks outside of Chechnia bleed Russians - require Russians to shift troops back in defensive positions instead of sending more to Chechnen areas, collateral damage is also out of Chechnen area. Payback for 100+ years of Russian damage. RN.

That sure what it looks like to me too. From what I remember seeing on TV about that war it did not seem right what they(Rusians) were doing to them either. Mark H.

The more I read the more Chechen's were killed by the Rusians. I guess they killed 100,000 of them in the first war and over 13,000 in the second war. No wonder there is so much hatred between the two countrys!? Mark H.

I know a Special Forces officer who trained fighters for ejecting the Russians from Afganistan. While he was there training the unconventional forces one of the leaders told him that after they kicked the Russians out they would go after the USA. Well. They made their word good on 9-11. It is difficult to choose a side in the conflict. I speak to those on both sides. I like a couple of the enemies of the Russians who act nice,One a former Soviet sniper. But if the guys kick the Russians out they will have a refuge for terrorist of the same variety our troops are now fighting in Iraq and afganistan. Good night Willy. Yes.It is a confusing situation.I agree.
