Morning Everyone, It looked as if nothing was going on yesterday but now I'm up and have walked and fed all 3 dogs before daylight and the wind has picked up a lil, the clouds are moving along thru the sky but no torrential rainfall yet here. Not sure which is gonna be more exciting, the storm or trying to keep the dogs seperated for however long we have to. My lil dog gets along with both the big dogs but those two bigguns don't AT ALL and they're brother and sister. My lil guy and the female are out on the screen porch and they're ok as long as she's getting all the attention : ) Ya'll Take Care, God Bless You and I'll check in as I can.

For Hugo we spent the storm at my aunt's home..we had mattresses thrown all over the house, for it didn't have that many bedrooms to accommodate all of us.

Stay safe DD..God Bless all in the storm path.

btw..just wondering about Shep, he used to post here..i think he lived in FL.

Hi DD, I just got an email from my sister in Martin County. She says the eye of the storm is supposed to hit 20 miles N. of her house in Stuart. She says they are getting torrential rain and gusts to 60 mph at the moment. She is riding the storm out in her house. She is looking after other peoples property while they have sought shelter. Looting is a big, big problem during and after these storms. There are enough low-lifes in the world; I say let an armed guard sit in a high place, if there are any high places left, and shoot the looters with rat shot the first shot and bigger stuff if they don't stop. I know this will not happen. They might shoot someone who had a difficult childhood or might be under the influence of something. Oh well. Keep your head down.

Quite frankly, looters should be shot on sight, what a thing to do when a disaster is going on. I for one, think the law should be to the limit on looters.......

Good morning DD,good to hear from you. I'm guessing from your message that you have moved on to a more substantial dwelling. Take care and God bless,to you and yours, and all you folks in harms way

Yes (dunno whether it should be Sir or Ma'am here) The whole family has descended on my older Sisters house. With the info. we've been hearing about this storm I don't know if anything would be substantial through it but this is a new home and we can all be together here and that's what matters to us most. Thanks Len....NY : )

DD,family is always important. As you know, the spiritual strength of that group, particularly in trying times, can be amazing.

DD, We're sure hoping and praying the beast subsides a bit before it gets to your area. Be safe and take care of yourselves. Keep in touch when you can, we'll be waiting for word.
Ron
