Strangers in the pasture(a grin)

A few yrs ago, after Pop retired and moved off(but still owned)the farm,he went on vacation and asked if I would check on the property and some cattle in wild creek bottom pasture while he was gone.A few days later in passing I saw a vehicle with"foreign"plates pulled well into a driveway to the creek pasture.I pulled in behind to check as "tourists" occaisionly swiped small trees. No one was around but foottracks in the grass led thru the gate and down the lane,so I thought I would just see who/what was going on.Aways down the lane I heard some noise in a glade behind a knoll and crept over the knoll. To say the least 3 people were quite surprised.A couple visiting relatives in the neighborhood had decided to take a walk along the creek and "one thing led to another"on this beautiful spring day.Apologizing for intruding(the gentlemanly thing to do)I left them to their pursuits. The following Christmas I got a card from them with a "new baby" announcement......Life goes on
