Reading the below post from DJ and all brought to mind astory bought my oldest when she was about 3or 4.
I am not a farmer, Being the first generation of my family since we arrived on this continent in 1634 not to make a living off the land I think I have it in my blood and have lived in the country all my life.
Any way the old guy up the road passed away and his widow kept going for a few years and then decided to sell the dairy herd. After the cows were gone the smell in the area cleared up a bit, I never really noticed a difference untill we went to visit my uncle one day and as we pulled up to the barn my My daughter took I deep breath and said "Daddy I like it here it smells like home is supposed to"
