Hey Les, wasn't it Safire's Mother what said of de Kingfish, "You lazy-no-account-pitiful-poor-excuse-for-a-man-,look-at-what-you've-done-and-went-and-done-to-my-darling-little-girl.--You -don't-ever-take-her-no-where-and-buy-her-anything-and-you-keep-her-here-in-dis-heah-pigstye-you-call-a-house-and-all-you-want-to-do-is-go-down-to-your-lodge-hall-to-bilk-yo-friend-Andy-out-uv-his-money. And, them is your good points.

Nope, that car belongs to one Dave Dearborn of West Campton, NH. It's a 1911 Jackson.

Kingfish was de main. Remember the time he sold Andy the house in the country that was a movie facade? And the time he sold Andy the trip to the great out west in a camper. He convinced Andy that he had a rare disease that required him to wear a blind fold and then he took him to Central park and led Andy around. Worked pretty good even after the lion "rowed" until Saffire and Mama took a stroll through the park and caught de Kingfish leading Andy around.

boy Steve, that really took me back in time. Especially the one about the phony house. Too bad there is no comedy like that today.

Ain't politically correct, REt. Can't have that. Might hurt somebody's feelins.
My kids and grandchildren have never been able to enjoy the "Song of the South" because Disney is afraid of the flak they'll get if they re-release it.

the time he told Andy he wasn't going anywhere in life wif out a college education. And, he says, It just so happens that I am a representative of Brown University. And, he continued, I have been empowered to issue college degrees based on a persons IQ. Noew, for the paltry sum of only fifty dollars, I can give you the IQ test and if you passes, I can write your diploma right here on the spot. So, hand me the fifty and come on into the Lodge Hall and I'll administer the test.

Inside, da Kingfish made a big "I" on the blackboard and asked, Noew, Andy what is that? And, Andy replied, "That's an I".
Right you are, said da Kingfish.
Next he made a "Q" on the chalkboard, and asked, what is that?
Andy say, that be a Q.
Right again, said de kingfish. Well, Andy you done passed your IQ test. And, he proceeded to write out a bogus diploma.

Sometimes, ole Andy would turn the apple cart and get the best of De Kingfish. In one episode, there was a rare coin. I forgot exactly how she went but Kingfish was tooken by Andy.
