Pleasantries…a tad late in my response over an issue a couple days previous; it would appear, that through a post of mine, I inadvertently used the wrong name, Lenore, instead of Aprille, when mentioning that I was not available as a proposed soul mate. But, thanks to Toolman, who, through Lenores rebuttal, saw something that the rest of us….well…at least myself…had failed to recognize, was going on. On the surface, it was noted that it rather odd, Lenore, was and is, on the birthday search. Now this in itself is not that peculiar, but, as Toolman noted, Lenore, is indeed, on the suitor trail, herself! I must commend the lady for a very subtle way of searching out a prospective “love of her life”, by asking for everyone’s birth date, suspicion of her activities, can be allayed and no one will suspect what is truly going on, and have all the time in the world to peruse her findings. Now, far be it for me to chastise anyone in their quest to improve their lot in life and enjoy the company of the opposite set…but…a few cautionary thoughts; please…. Do not be abrasive…learn to roll with the punches…learn to laugh….and….raised hackles do not make a good hair-do…..and, above all else….an easy mark will suffer the brunt of many jibes, and just being nice is not the total answer. Do have a real gooder, Lenor, and Aprille yours truly, R.E.L.

Hey Grover, think Lenoer's set her sights on ol Rajah, seems he's headed down to Texas to open a Currie Deli in the 7/11 he bought right next to Clod's Toolshed Trailer.
Later Bob

Sorry Mojo, I cannot take credit for this timely bit of information...Toolman is the MAN of the the old addage would suggest, "I am just an observer on the hiway of life"...true... I do sometimes stand too close to the white line, but, those are the hazards...have a godoer, R.E.L.

Hummmmm..... I never thought of that!! hahaha the birthday search as a way to find a fellow. I been there done that, did my time! LOL

I just can not think of a way to "improve their lot in life and enjoy the company of the opposite set".
I just popped in to clarify so
Miss Aprille could get all the offers. I defintely am not searching the market of eligible men folks so I did not want to infringe on any bites she might get here.

Grove r, I am only getting birthdays because I have so much extra time on my daily planner, I thought that would give me something to do with all that extra time.

Hey you did not have to explain or apologize, Grove r, anyone could have made the same mistake... ~Lenore or Aprille, easy to confuse those names, right ?! LOL

Lenore, You're a kind and thoughtful lady. Your collection of birth dates is nothing more than your way of spreading well wishes to the family members here at Country Life. And, I for one am grateful, even tho you missed my birthday back there in June. So, in case you have trouble remembering, it falls on June 10th......That's the sixth month, tenth day.....almost halfway through the year....less than two weeks before the summer soltice.......about the time schools close for the summer....somewhere in the general time frame of Fathers Day. OK, oke, okydoky, got it, I'll be waiting and watching........gfp

I just hate it when you speak so eloquently,,,,
A lesser man may have taken a page from miss Tammy's phrase book and simply said,,,
Aw never mind, I better not.

Grove r    Posted 09-06-2004 at 12:33:28       [Reply]  [No Email]
I know..."bite me" comes to mind.....and.... Toolman, yer tryin ta slip under the fence, again, 'twas not my observant eye that caught the hidden meaning behind Lenore's activity... I was merely an inocent by-stooder.....Bob, I suppose ole Rajah may be a worthy catch... 'suppose one could get used to the smell of curry...maybe....and then there is dear need not be bashfull here, you are among freinds...just ask Mojo...if you so desire to become one with the fraternity of "soul seekers", along the power line of life, waiting for that right "Mr Horn" have all our blessings, just make sure his instruments are properly tuned, and that Clod has the extra room in his "woodshed". have a gooder, R.E.L.

You know you all must be terribly bored! haha
You are having just a little too much fun at my expense due to Grove r's poor eyesight and slip of names! LOL

I already have a standing invitation to move into Clod's toolshed. ;-)
... but I dont think Rajah is included in the invitation.
I have the invitation filed away in my file cabinet.
It is filed in the folder titled "Options".

too good to pass up...    Posted 09-06-2004 at 14:13:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
For this I will come out of lurking. I knew ol' Clod's name might come up in this conversation. I seem to notice that there might be more going on here than meets the eye of the casual observer:^)
.....and furthermore, I say, good for you, both of you, my fine friends. :^)
ron,ar back to lurk mode again.
