My mind went on a nostalgia (did i spell that right?) trip, and remembered while growing up I use to see planes sky writing slogans and such. I've not seen such in many years now.

Until recently it was very common to see skywriting in the Orlando, FL area. It was just as fun to see them practice by doing smiley faces, etc.

Empty beer cans,
On the road,
Are ugly many say,
But when at night,
Reflecting bright,
They safely guide the way.

Thats a thing of the past just like Burma shave signs, pepsi in a bottle and the family farm. I guess its better advertising on internet and TV...Sure was neat living back in the good old days

It was neat living in the good old days.
Do you suppose the best this country has ever been or ever will be is behind us?
Chas, looking over his memories, up here in Maine.

Twenty or thirty years from now our kids'll be saying the exact same thing about TV or some-such-thing. "Remember those neat NIKE commercials?"
