got me wondering. What's the best "optional" illusion. Here is a good one.

Thanks, Doc, for sharing.

I'll show you how much of a skeptic I am - I thought to myself, "Well, maybe in the original they were the same, but something got lost in the copying". :-0

So I did a "printscreen" command and printed the graphic out so that I could cut out the "A" square and put it right beside the "B" square. It was unbelievable. It brings home the old saying, "Believe nothing that you hear and only half of what you see!" :-)

Thanks so much for sharing; my children and I loved it! Don't know if I've mentioned on the board that we homeschool - so this became part of our curriculum for the day! :-)

I just checked the colors in my graphical program and they are the same... awesome!

Now this is funny.. 30 seconds apart...
I copied the pic to one of my websites.. What did you do, doc?

Doc    Posted 09-07-2004 at 19:14:56       [Reply]  [No Email]
Downloaded it and then back up to image server. For some reason that seems to work better than just using the original url. Don't know why.

Gerrit    Posted 09-07-2004 at 19:17:48       [Reply]  [No Email]
Maybe the original server doesn't like "hotlinking" and blocks more than one request from the same origin.. We had it here on two comps.. On mine the pic showed, on Patria's it didn't..
Anyway, now the pic is there - my server doesn't mind hotlinking - I've got enough bandwidth for this..

Hmmmmmm..... didn't even think of that one. Learn something everyday. Thanks for the help & sorry I misspelled your handle.

Anyway it's "is" an awesome illusion.

My pleasure..

Don't worry about misspelling my handle, which actually is my real first name - I'm not creative enough to find a handle and always use my real name..:-)

The illusion is really great!
Thanks for sharing it!
