It has rained all day up here in the north. I took some bundles of grain to a guy downstate to see if he was interested in buying them. We had a good chat and I may have sold my whole crop. Not sure yet, there's always the chance for a deal to fall through.
I cut my barley with a binder and have it stored under a big tarp. I would be a happy camper if i could move it all at once.
We always seem to get the tail end of the hurricanes up here. They show up as rain. Sometimes they get blown out to sea. This one has brought us a day of hard rain, right at harvest. The potatoes need to come out of the ground. It's early on in digging so there's no one too worried yet.
Chas, updating you all about the going's on, up here in Maine

Houlton. How is the truck restoration coming? We had a few good ones at a car show held at the new Museum in Littleton. Were you there?
