is the 11th of September....don't know what you folks have planned nor is it any of my business. My family and I will be attending Memorial Services for friends lost when the Towers fell. Hope each of you have a quiet, peaceful day and find the time to offer up a silent prayer for those who perished. A little peace and quiet and meditation is certainly in order. Have a good one regardless of what's on your agenda. God Bless all....

Good post Clipper. Thanks for the reminder.

All Americans should take a moment to remember the events of that day. Those victims were murdered for no reason other than they were here in America and the attackers hate America and it's people.
They hate us not for our faults (of which we have many), but for our virtues.

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it.

We should never forget.

Thanks for putting that up Red Dave, I have made it a priority in my life that noone in my house every forget what happened that day. My heart still breaks to think of all those lives lost and all the lives left behind to honor them. I don't understand why any American can't see that if we just back off and let things go, this horrible thing that happened will happen again and again. If we forget or for one moment let our guard down, those who hate us will do it again. We protect our children with our lives, our home with our lives, our familys' with our lives, so tell me why we would not want to protect Our Country with our lives? We, as Americans can NOT let this happen again. We all lost something that day, weither it be a friend, a loved one, or just someone we might have passed on the street, or just our sense of security. We all lost something. And sadly, what ever it was that you or I or Jim, Joe or Bob lost, we can never get it back. And because of that, I will never forget. And when I say my prayers, I will pray that noone ever will.

We should never forget. I wonder what the Islamics thought they were gaining by murdering over 300 innocent children in Russia. What is it going to take to make the rest of the world realize that this is a serious problem? If we decide to not fight this group of zealots, they will NOT end their attacks upon us. It is not just Americans that they hate, but all that are not Muslim. I am not saying that all Muslims wish all non-Muslims dead. I suspect that they do though. Clipper, I know that your post was to honor our fallen and that I have abused your thread with my rant. You can get me; I'm not going to delete it. Yall be good.
