Scaffolding and pointing update

Hi all:

Wanted to say "thanks again" and give a little update on my chimney project.

With everyone's good advice, I got the scaffold up to the chimney. While I've been up there, I've been scraping, priming, and painting trim...helps me get used to each new scaffold level.

Anyway, just finished pointing the western chimney. This one isn't used anymore and is pretty much just for decoration, but since it is farthest from the entrance I started with it. Looks good, if I don't say so myself, and I'm guessing it won't fall down anytime soon.

Get to take the scaffold down now, and move to the other side of the house where I'll do the active chimney.

Couldn't have gotten it done without all y'alls help. Thanks!

If the scaffolding gets boring I've got a rickety old extension ladder you could borrow.8^) Sure has been keeping me alert while I paint! Plus it's lots of fun going up and down relocating it.
