Water in washer

I'm storing a whirlpool washing machine over the winter, when it was unloaded I could hear water sloshing inside. Plugged it in,gave it a spin but no water came out. Here in the northern climes I'm worried it may freeze,(it will be cold storage)cause damage and then it would be rendered useless, is there a way to extract the water before its too late, tried tipping it upside down but nothing came out. Any other thoughts? Dan in AB

Just dump a Gallon ($3.50) of RV Anti freeze in it and pump it some to mix it in the pump and hoses. That is what I am going to do to my Pressure washer and pumps and valves on my Fire Truck this winter. The pink RV Stuff won't hurt anything it is safe for plumbing and fresh water systems. Mark H.
