Been along night here, just got phone service back up so I could dial up.No power outages to speak of here. The scariest thing so far is 17 confirmed tornados from the Flordia pan handle to just above Albany Ga.Had nine confirmed in one county! Local wind is 35 mph with gust to just above 40mph, from the looks of our local doppler radar and noaa we will have one more feeder ban that might produce some trouble. next comes the rain, thats something we don't need we already are saturated from 4 weeks of storms, all the creeks and the Flint river are near cresting but the corp of enginers say we should be ok.
There miniumal tornado damage which had really suprized me with all things considered.
My predections are for heavy rain from N. Alabama up to near Pennsylvania if it does not stall out over N. Ala. and N. Ga.
I'm currently listening to my ham and ssb radio of the storm chasers current in W. Ga and mid Alabama looks to be a long day.
Headed off with the GF to check out her place and see whats going on over there. I'll check back later today.
All you folks in the path or east of it hunker down and stay safe...

and as always have a super fantastic day...

Hey TO...we are getting that wind and rain about now, its 4 pm now. Guy had a tree go down across his fence across the street, he was up at 6 am witht the chainsaw cutting it up. The city came by and chewed it up into mulch for him. He is NOT gonna be happy when he gets home, the rest of the tree fell, and it is blocking the road out in front of my house. :(

Still have power, the DirecTV satellite has been strong today, not much glitching. Watched some RFDTV, Farm reports and High School Rodeo while doing laundry.

Just lots of wind and lots of rain. Y'all have a good one, hope everybody is doing fine. The chickens aren't too happy about all this weather, they are getting a bath they didn't ask for. They COULD go in the chicken house, but that would make too much Tip has been nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs all day...storms really get to her. I don't know how in the world I ended up with a sheep dog that is scared of the weather! LOL!

QUACK, it sure sounds like you're going to need it! I hope the beast moves fast enough to spare you some of the rain, but I'm really happy to hear that the wind was no worse than it's been.
You folks be carefull, and take care of yourselves.
Keep in touch.
