I have canoed that river, years ago mind you, all the way from the head waters in Cherry Tree, where it's barely big enough to float a canoe, to Lock Haven, where she takes on a whole different look. They were evacuating Cherry tree last night the last I heard because a dam up there was near giving out but i haven't heard any news about it breakin.

I didn't hear of the dam in cherry tree. For what I can make out it appears the river has crested and may be started to receed I think. Will see tomorrowwhen the water goes down and the impact of what happened sets in to those that were hit.
