I was having tons of problems with my Computer locking up. It would just go crazy sometimes. I would have to restart it sometimes 3-4 times a hour using it. Replaced my Lazer Mouse with a new one and it fixed itself! Cheap $19.00 repair and I allmost threw the whole works out the window a few times! Mark H.

You've found that a large number of computer issues are the result of hardware problems. Do you know if the hardware itself was faulty or does that mouse have a special driver?

The problems went away after I changed the Mouse out. So my guess it was the driver in the mouse that was failing. It was one of those with the red light that senses the movement instead of the roller ball. Mark H.

Been fighting all kinds of "weird" problems on my system at work, the FACs machine also.

Found out that my boss is shopping the net for Hawaiian vacation packages.

I think yours is an easier fix than I will have... :^(

when im surfin the internet i get booted off alot and a message come up and asks if i want to report it to MS or not, if you says yes it takes you on a journey that you really wish you weren,t on and nothing ever changes or gets fixed, if you say no you just return to the screen and click on the internet icon again and away you go, not sure what causes it will have to try and figger it out when i have more time.

Hey toolman, i get a window simlar to what you describe. The only thing i have found to do is put your cursor on the top of the window and click and drag it clear to the bottom of the screen out of sight and continue what you want to do. Seems like out of sight out of mind.
