What kind of Cologne do ya'll use? Do you have one that seems to be your "Signature" scent? One that seems to just "work" with your body chemistry? I'm kinda partial to the Classic Old Spice, IF it mixes with a fellers chemistry well. My Baby Sis used to date a feller that wore Preffered Stock (sp) it smelled really great on him so Mom bought Dad a bottle...yuck! Smelled bad on him because it didn't mix well with his body chemistry. Also, do you have a perfume that you like for your significant other to wear? I'm just curious about this, some fellers only wear cologne when they go out or for a special occasion and such and only wear After Shave for "everyday" wear. Do the ladies here have any preferences also? Thanks for any and all replies ya'll : )

Thanks for all the replies ya'll, and in case anyone is interested B'duckie will selling his own new line called Don't Miss Cologne: DD's post below has given me an idea.
Considering how Bob attracts female ducks I suddenly realized what his secret must be, it's his cologne.

Now the only thing Bob "splashes" on his body is the water in his pond (bathtub) so that must be it.

So I've decided to take advantage of this secret female attracting scent and let my taler buddies in on the ground floor.

I'm going to begin bottling Bob's pond water at that point when it's color resembles that of an unripe apple. It'll be bottled in 1 oz. bottles which will sell for $129.95 each (plus S & H).

The first batch, which will be labeled "Duckwater No.1" Each subsequent "batch" will be labeled with a succeeding number.

Just like wines produced in some years become more popular than others it follows that some "batches" of "Duckwater" will become more popular than others but this can only be determined after each subsequent batch is out on the market for a while.

So I'm looking for a "partner" for each batch of "Duckwater". To become a partner you will finance the production of each batch which will cost $10,000. Your return will be $0.95 on each bottle sold.

The balance will go to Bob's IRA after I retain a reasonable handling fee.

So don't wait, send me your check for $10,000 immediately and don't forget to indicate which batch of "Duckwater" you wish to back.

All requests will be honored on a "first come, first serve" basis so don't wait.

B'duckie

***This is just too funny to me***

My signature fragrance is "Dolce' Vita" by Christian Dior. I also like Lulu by Chaperal but I can only get it on line, Foley's and the big stores dont carry it anymore.

My daughter sells Avon so when I am with her I try to remember to wear Haiku. If I wear Dolce' Vita I always get asked what it is and have to tell them it is not Avon. LOL Untamed and Per Blanca are two Avon ones I like for everyday.

DD    Posted 09-19-2004 at 14:06:57       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yep, Haiku has a nice scent too : ) The Avon stuff is what I wear for everyday. The higher end stuff is for special occasions : )

Old Spice has been a mainstay in my household since before I was old enough to wear it. My Dad wore it and I just thought that was all there was. I remember trying Hi Karate and other "fads" but not for long. It is my two daughters primary job to keep me in Old Spice for the year. I have enough to last five years right now.LOL
One of the girls at the shop gave me some of what she likes, for Christmas one year, forgot the name, expensive, in a blue bottle. Wife said it smelled good, but she didn't like the "gesture" I think:^)

DD    Posted 09-19-2004 at 11:35:38       [Reply]  [No Email]
Well of course Ron, that's our job as good Daughters, to make sure ya got plenty of stuff ya don't need....LOL! I learned a long time ago that if I wanted to ever buy my Dad sumthin he'd actually use then it had better be a sleeve of dip or a case of beer...LOL! Actually I did pretty good this past Fathers Day, I got him 2 books, one was "The Complete History of Bluegrass" and the other was by Charlie Daniels "This aint no rag, it's a Flag". He seemed pleased with both of them.

Nothin wrong with that Steve : )

Kokanee    Posted 09-19-2004 at 10:43:41       [Reply]  [No Email]
I used to wear it alot when I was younger. Now theres no need except that special occasion. A VISIT TO MOTHERINLAWS. Yikes!! Not only am I forced into scrubbin my fingernails before I arrive but I have to hide the smell of smoke. {cigarettes} For that I use at times the cheap Aqua Velva. Nice smell without the price.

Cindi    Posted 09-19-2004 at 10:50:34       [Reply]  [No Email]
I have tried a few and I seem to keep going back to Vanilla Fields. It's light and rather sweet, just like me (heh heh) and I get a lot of compliments on it.

DD    Posted 09-19-2004 at 10:58:48       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yep, I like Avon's Mesmerize for my everyday wear and get lots of compliments on that too. Also on Clinique's Happy when I wear that or just the body spray from Bath & Body Works in Cucumber Melon or Sun Ripened Raspberries : )

DD    Posted 09-19-2004 at 10:49:21       [Reply]  [No Email]
LOL, Thanks Kokanee, nice reply but if she's a NONsmoker, she can still smell it <<

Aprille    Posted 09-19-2004 at 13:20:28       [Reply]  [No Email]
I have a few.I wear a mix of Musk and Patchoulli oil that i call Earth..A girl at school is allergic to Patchoulli so I try not to set her off..kicks her Asthma in..I wear Musk by Houbigant..also Odyssy by Avon is a signature scent..There is another 2 that I switch off with..Caliente' and Poison..VERY mysterious!! Lol..Good Query DD!!

DD    Posted 09-19-2004 at 13:47:36       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yep, Musk Oil has been a favorite of mine since it came out, made by Jovan. I've tried all of them I think...lol. They even used to have one called Snow Musk that was a light scent but unmistakably Musk : ) I'd have to say that my favorite mens scent, and only if it mixes with his body chemistry well, is Drakkar Noir. Preffered Stock isn't bad or Cool Water either.
