You will have to have a laboratory to confirm the diagnosis by a microscopic examination of certain tissues. Not sure where in nature the virus exists but it is spread by feather dander containing the virus (kindof like chicken dandruff). Letting them run loose or keeping them in as dust free an environment as possible may help slow the spread. It is usually a slow spreading disease with not major numbers lost in small hobby flocks. Again, you would have to have a laboratory diagnosis to be sure of what you have. What state are you in?

Arkansas is a great place to have a chicken problem. State diagnostic laboratory system should be able to diagnose it for you.
