today was interesting - afternoon therapy i spend an hour with shannon in pt(leg) then get handed straight over to kathy's ot (arm).well they helped my left side last year so we can kid around some. shannon made some compliment on my progress and i mentioned that there was 1 muscle that hadn't perked in 3 weeks and i was trying to figure out a solution. she caught on right away, laughed and assured me that part was beyond her job description. but said i should ask kathy. so a couple minutes later i asked her but she wasn't sure what i meant so i just said there's more to us than arms & legs. ohhhh and she laughed. well at the same time i had wedged an empty juice cup in my lazy hand, and was pouring a glass of water from my glass-holder, hoping to upgrade my cup. yup, the darn thing got full rotated neatly on my lap and doused my whole front below the waist with ice water! of course kathy & i cracked up, and when shannon looked over i told her, "well i asked her!" and she about died with laughter. so here i went wheeling down the hallway, drenched to my knees and mentioning to passersby that it's not what you think. good to have some comic relief- i think we entertained the whole wing. :)

The best remedy, a cold shower. I guess localized is better.
Chas, trying not to shiver, up here in Maine.

DC, I've missed your post. glad to see you back. You're pert-near always good for a laugh. Just remember, it's all about rehab. Not about goosing the therapist.........gfp
