Good to read your doing well DC:
The heaviest association I've had with the medical fixer-uppers was anxiously sitting a couple hrs in my Doc's dungeons, Monday last. Wound up getting a courtesan shot in the shoulder to help ease some autoerotic pain. Darned if them little spurs around that deep seated cup donít do a lot of digging into the flesh from the inside out.
So, take it easy, hold a tight rein, when ya feel yourself being ridden hard. Iím sure Suz ainít finished getting even yet! (grin)

Autoerotic shoulder pain - and just how exactly did that occur?
That's hilarious!
Paul.

Don't pay a lot of attention to what my friend Fern writes. He does that on purpose to get folks to thinking. He's does it to me nearly every morning. But, I've gotten to where I can read his intent. Fact is, I've gotten to where I throw it RAT back at him. RAT as in ___ over yonder.

Good morning DC. hope everything goes good for you there. Betcha got those nurces doing backflips, dontcha?

Grover, You got any suggestions on what we can do with Frien Fern?

Fern, I'll check ya out later this evening or tomorrow.........gfp

It should be that we enjoy his wit and timely repore..... therein lies a cornucopia of insites, truisms and down to earth logic, that he is willing to share to make our mundane daily activities seem more important, by comparasin. This forum has taken on a greater meaning with his posts.....do have a gooder, R.E.L.

I fully agree with you Grover. It's just that I like to pull his chain now and again for driving a herd of steers through my kitchen......gfp

With the intent to avert a greater catastrophy, I am sure, gfp...as I see it, it couldn't have been any other way.....have a gooder, R.E.L.

morning fern and thanks for the well wishes- they're calling me for grand rounds but this is a nutshell:

i'm stiil in hospital rehab unit for awhile .
my release date and equipment are still kinda up in the air. so much depends on my lazy leg, they're trying different things to get the nerves to fire. i've been soliciting the lunch crowd for a mean dog, figger if he chewed on it awhile, something just might get the urge to run away. until it can lift the knee, bend it and lift the ankle it's still a stoopid sausage. worse case i'll be indoors this winter looking out the window, right now that possibility would probably irritate me no end. grrrr :)
i suppose aleve isn't strong enough for your arthritis, but that's my relief for gout. been needing some kinda naprosen for awhile now.

A very pleasant "good day" to you both....the ills of the older years do weigh heavily upon ones shoulders....perhaps that is why we need the medical intervention of the "injection".... I too suffered the wrath of "bone on bone", and recieved the brother to cortizone via a long thin sharpened tube.......

DC, the phone call was indeed a pleasantry....alwayas like to put a voice to the poster of welcome notes....given time and your unswerving Scandinavian humour, the healing process will be the victor.

Fernan, do take care, and give our mutual friend, Anvil, a youthful salute.

Have a gooder, R.E.L.
