Been hot up here this Sept in the 80s about everyday. In fact, hotter in the first two weeks of September than any two weeks in July & August. We had one of the coolest summers in many many years. We has the cloud line of hurricane Ivan to the southeast, but never got up here in northern lower MI.

Our garden is still not producing much due to the cold summer, so it is a good thing we canned 2000+ quarts last year.

I am now building a greenhouse of 10 x 22 feet in size as a lean-to against the south wall of our hip roof type barn. Hopefully, next year will produce good crops if chilly up here again.
