Read everyones posts to Hubby concerning the cow and calf...seemed releived...woke me up around midnight going to check on the calf and see if it might drink some water...Bet that little calf wishes he would leave her alone...Ofcorse she won't drink it..lol..They are all running around in the west pasture...Ellies bag is sure big but like ya'll said alot of it is swelling..
I know that calf is sneaking an eating cause it is a pooping and a peeing...Lord have mercy if we had more than 4 I figure husband would sleep in barn...We sure need more land..Acreage has got so high here is Arkansas...and there are lots of commerical chickens houses going in everywhere...Not a good smell to be downwind of...But that maybe what my neighbors think of our barnyard..lol..
Fern sounds like you need to take a day somehow and get some rest...You got your hands full and we all holler for you when something happens with our cows...
Thanks to everyone for helping me and giving support...I really need it...Sometimes I think why in the world did we decide to do this...then I see the MAmma and little calf running across the feild..Won't have it any other way...Goodweekend to all...KAtG
