Yep. The woods are starting to finally show some color. No more sweaty hot days cutting and baling, the lawn will stop growing, the nights will be comfortable for sleeping. It will be invigorating to go out and do morning chores. The scent of apples and dried leaves in the air, fresh chestnuts for roasting, the evenings are cool enough that a cooked supper actually warms the soul. Soon there will be days pleasantly cool for righteous shirt sleeve manual labor. No more mosquitos in the evenings. Weather that is actually good for camping and hunting. Ahhh! Octember will soon be here my favorite month of the year. (10-15 to 11-15) No complaints here!
