Seems like it ain't going to be real brilliant this year. Here's one I took today. Not long after I saw Mutt. He was standing right there when I took the above pictures.

I don't think it is going to be as brilliant as the talking heads have been saying...Still time, but I am seeing more leaves falling than turning so far...

My observations precisely. Something you don't see much of around here, but this year I see quite a bit of it: leaves turning brown and falling. ??? Too much rain?

That the 'rain' was 'supposed' to benefit the colour, and that the leaves were supposed to hold longer...Hmm...

Now I am going to have to make the MIL pull out her diaries for the last couple decades just to make sure we are not seeing anything out of the ordinary here...

Nothing I hate worse than bearing witness to meteorological anomalies...

Jeez Les!! U are so taking the FUN out of Fall fer me!! I thought that we were having great colors and the SUNSETS!! WOW!! Lovin' that Harvest Moon but didn't get HALF the tomatoes I was spose ta get..my peppers were anything BUT..my Fennel did well but no bulb..strange..How did everyone elses' garden grow in my neck a the woods??
