you should be listening to 6037 (37 on Sirius). There's a live performance by Mac Wiseman on right now. He's singing all the old favorites like Jimmy Brown the Newsboy, Old Shep, Wreck of the Old 97, Letter Edged in Black. If you like that old stuff and can listen in, do it quick before it's over.
I've seen him a couple times. Good showman.

I listen to XM sattalite radio. I leave TV for my wife to enjoy.
Chas, digging alternative rock, up here in Maine.

Just my luck too, I have direct, and XM!
Wouldn't leave home without my XM anymore. But I could leave the TV at somebody elses home for a year or two.

The "alternative" to rock that I listen to is Bluegrass, old time country, Southern Gospel and classical stuff. Oldies prior to 1970 are mostly bearable. Prior to the Beatles is better.

I love Bluegrass. Some gospel brings tears to my eyes. I get both on XM. Tonight, I chose some alt. rock. Some of the new rock, not rap or hip-hop, is really good.
Have a good one.
