As a starter? Is this something I could work with? I don't mind the small spaces for now...if I could get a well and septic put in...?

That land for a 1,000.00 a acre is steep in price. I don't think your building is worth much. I am not sure about snow in that area but it might get hard to get to during the winter. From what I see of the road going to it it is just a trail and has not been built to hold up if you drive on it much if wet. You would have to haul lots of gravel to repair it for regular use. Land aroud where I live goes for 500.00 - 1,000.00 a acre in 20 - 40 acer sites near county roads 10-15 miles from town. Electricty is something you have to think about is it close enought to afford to bring in. Access is very important, remember you have to maitain the road and not to many people around if you get stuck to pull you out. Your pluming, water and septic system will cost you as much as the land did so give it some real good thought befor you buy. It is better to buy a place with a good well allready in. Mark H.

Oy vay! Didn't say how far it is to anything like store, school, etc. You'd really have to love living like that.
