what's your pump price for gas? 2.05 here in N/W Ohio for low grade.

KatG    Posted 10-08-2004 at 17:48:48       [Reply]  [Send Email]
$1.89 two days ago in central western Arkansas

MizMolly    Posted 10-09-2004 at 08:55:48       [Reply]  [Send Email]
I paid $1.93 at the gas pump yesterday. Also ordered 250 gallons of diesel for farm use and paid $1.60 per gallon. Hmmm, maybe everything in Texas ain`t bigger after all.

Here's a website with a lot of painful truth about what
being addicted to oil is doing to the world.

$1.85 is the lowest, hopping to $1.89 quickly. Just
purchased 600 gallons of heating oil at $1.75 per
gallon. That will last me a couple of months, maybe
more.

Central Kentucky, low grade
1.89 on Wednesday
1.95 on Thursday

Those expensive gas guzzlers eating you up huh joycehead. Too bad about your monthly payment!!

EngineerJoyce    Posted 10-08-2004 at 13:23:13       [Reply]  [No Email]
You smart alek! you should worry, I'm using YOUR paycheck! take THAT!!!

car payment? never had one! Gas guzzler? Well, the van's current 22 mpg IS a bit higher than the Grand Am's 30 mpg, but I still wouldn't call it a guzzler.
...hmmm...maybe I need to go car shopping...
:-)
EJ
oh crap, I just remembered, you use MY paycheck,,,I'd better re-think the car shopping idea... :-(

toolman    Posted 10-08-2004 at 14:02:40       [Reply]  [No Email]

toolman    Posted 10-08-2004 at 10:44:28       [Reply]  [No Email]
paid 78.9 a litre last night here it,s 88.9 in town, maybe joyce will convert it for ya, at any rate it is way too high, and before long it will destroy the economy just like high interest rates do,course maybe the what them arabs are up to after all, just do it to us slowly first, till they can get all they can out of us,course they own half of north america now.

EngineerJoyce    Posted 10-08-2004 at 13:18:13       [Reply]  [No Email]
Your price of 78.9 cents per liter multiplied by 3.7854 liters per gallon makes the price $2.987 per gallon. And in town, that 88.9 cents per liter is $3.365 cents per gallon.
My sympathies.

Of course, didn't I hear from somewhere that most of your cost of gasoline in Canada is just taxes?

toolman    Posted 10-08-2004 at 14:05:02       [Reply]  [No Email]
about 40% of it is taxes , either way it,s money out of the consumers pockets, high prices for very long will hurt our economy.

Chas in Me    Posted 10-08-2004 at 06:35:30       [Reply]  [No Email]
2.15 up here on the Canadian Border. The stations price just below Canadian prices. It's as much as 20 cents cheaper downstate. *&*&&^%ing crooks.
