we have 2 candidates, both rich, both full of beans. one's a coward & traitor and the other can't pronounce "nucular". out of the other 28 million americans, you'd think we could do better. it's failures like these that speak volumes of both parties. i've been ashamed of our leaders for 8 years - wouldn't waste a drop of gas or lift a finger to enrich either one.

DC, that is about as straight as it gets and sums up my opinion nicely, thank you.

I will support an honorable, capable, candidate as President Bush, over a past and current traitor, every time. Pronunciation of words be d---ed.

according to the ratwing conservative media the Swiftboat fellers turned out to be telling a total and complete lie, with the blessings of Scrub and team.

The fellers who were testifying against Kerry had never served with him.

Scrub had to tighten Rumdum's chain because he was doing the same thing, telling one lie after another.

kraigWY    Posted 10-08-2004 at 09:37:38       [Reply]  [No Email]
Dont know about that, but kerry did lie a min of three times about his Vietnam duty, and wont release his records showing the swifties are wrong. Remember Nixon wasn't president when kerry said he sent him to Cambodia. MLK was killed in April of 68 when kerry heard the news of his umtimely death while setting on his boat, but kerry didnt got to vietnam until Nov 68. And there has never been the V device kerry got issued for the Silver star, The SS is for valor in itself, now tell me again who is lying.
Don't forget kerry told the people of Iowa he grew up on a farm driving a John Deere. in Reality he dont know what end of a cow gets up first.

The question was about Rumdum and the Swiftboats kraig. I realize the ratwing answer to every question is to distort and throw the question off track but the question is still --what about Rumdum and the Swiftboat liars.

Along that line, When the Swiftboat boys had to drop the commercial because of the legal problems it is clear who lied. There is no question as to what length they will go with a lie to destroy credibility of Kerry or anyone else for that matter.

No doubt Kerry can hold his own with telling lies but in this case it is all malicious lyes by the Scrub team.

You may want to re-check the military records. Kerry's records are on line. I looked at them myself. It is Scrub who has no paper trail.

Please remember that just because the lying ratwing hatemonger talk shows say something don't make it true.

Ratwing conservative infomercials only means that uninformed and/or gullible people will believe anything that fits their own uneducated belief.

Burrhead: welcome back to the political arena. You provide a good lesson in investigative and biased journalism. As a quick summary- if your statements can't be quickly verified, vote the opposite of Burrheads statement. Usually fun to see you post. Die Fledermaus haben 'ratwings', will be back later. RN

I'm neither uninformed nor gullible. Not sure that I have a wing, I pretty much am somewhere in the middle. I read a lot from both sides of the spectrum, and I make up my own mind based in part on facts and in part on interpretation based on my own gut feel.

But I really find your references to the President of the U.S.--no matter who he is or will be-- offensive and tiresome. Name calling is just plain childish.

We probably ought to just keep talking about asparagus and implements and critters, since I suspect there'll be no mind-changing by anybody going on around here.

Actually Burr, the truth is something other than what you claim it is. Kerry has never come out and denied that what the Swift Boat vets have said. All he has done is character assassination and dodge the question. The fact remains that more than 200 Swiftvets have questioned Kerry's version of events and more than 60 have signed affidavits stating that what John Kerry says is a lie.

"When the Swiftboat boys had to drop the commercial because of the legal problems" is untrue. No legal challenge has been mounted against the Swiftvets directly, in fact they have invited Kerry to sue them if he wants to. You know good and well that he won't.
The only thing the KerryCamp has done is threaten radio and TV stations that carry the commercials.

The commercial currently running has interviews with wives of POW's testifying to the damage done by Kerry's false testimony before a congressional committee that all Vietnam vets were war criminals. Some class act, isn't he?

Go ahead, do your usual job of bad-mouthing, flaming, name-calling and talking dirty about anybody who dares to disagree with the great self-important Burrhead, but the truth is there for all to see.

From The Swiftboat Veterans website

1. If most of Kerry's fellow Swift veterans don't support him, then who were all those guys with him at the Democratic Convention? They made it appear that Kerry has the complete support of his "Band of Brothers" from Vietnam.

John Kerry has been able to convince about 13 men who served on Swift boats in the Mekong Delta to support him, 7 or 8 of whom were at various times crew members on his own 6-man boat. Those are the men the Kerry campaign so prominently featured at the Democratic Convention. The photograph we have posted at shows Kerry with 19 of his fellow Swift boat OICs (Officers In Charge) in Coastal Division 11. Four OICs were not present for the photograph. Only three of his 23 fellow OICs from Coastal Division 11 support John Kerry.

Overall, more than 250 Swift boat veterans are on the record questioning Kerry's fitness to serve as Commander-in-Chief. That list includes his entire chain of command -- every single officer Kerry served under in Vietnam. The Kerry game plan is to ignore all this and pretend that the 13 veterans his campaign jets around the country and puts up in 5-star hotels really represent the truth about his short, controversial combat tour.

The Swift boats fought in groups, so the other OICs who fought alongside Kerry know him well and can accurately describe what he did and did not do. In many cases Kerry's fellow OICs had a better perspective than his own crew members, since the latter had no way to determine whether he was following orders and how well he worked with his peers.

Operation Street Corner:

FOLKS! THIS IS HOT HOT HOT! Tony Snesko, Mary Melville, Amanda Prewett Doss, and I are e-mailing everybody and their dawg in a concerted effort to let the world know about the effect Operation Street Corner is having on the election. There are almost 3400 recipients of this newsletter. I am asking all of you to forward these next paragraphs to EVERYONE in your address book whom you trust. We don't want any ringers, although, to be honest, a couple of "us" are probably Kerry hacks. No matter--we want the word to get out, and that's the risk we take. Here goes--just cut and paste it into a new message, add your own personal note, and send it to the world! "America! Not to put too fine a point on it, we are less than a month from the election that may very well determine the future of Western Civilization. Those of us in Vietnam Vets for the Truth have done all we know how to do to ensure that John Kerry does not preside over the destruction of the American republic. All, that is, except to go in massive numbers into the streets and parking lots and convention halls of this country and confront those who are not aware of the danger John Kerry poses to the USA. A few hundred patriots are already involved in this project, and the results they have realized are phenomenal! You see, most Americans don’t really know anything about John Kerry, and it’s our job to educate them about at least one aspect of the man—the lies he told about Vietnam veterans in 1971--lies he still has not retracted or apologized for. The volunteers of “Operation Street Corner” (OSC) are reporting that most of the people they engage in conversation are not aware of those lies, and that once they are confronted with them, they often state that there’s no way they can vote for John Kerry. Our job is to mobilize hundreds of OSC volunteers to saturate this nation with the message that John Kerry is a liar. We all know many other examples of his lies, but we are at our most effective when we stick to his “baby-killer,” “throat-slitter,” “rapist,” and other horrendous statements. This is all documented on If you’ve not gotten involved in this year’s campaign, now’s the time. Please go to and learn how we are doing this. YOU can change people’s votes; YOU can cause the minute vote shifts that can determine the result in your state; and YOU can save this nation from the presidency of a man who has PROVED that he cares far more about his own ego than the welfare of the rest of us." I have checked out OSC, and I can promise you that it works. Give it a shot. As I said, cut and paste the above into your own e-mail and get it rolling! And check out the OSC website yourself—we have photos, testimonials, and how-to-do-it information galore! We are going full-bore from now to November 2nd, the day which, for Vietnam vets, will be this year’s Veterans Day. Allbest,

For addtional information on, visit their site. Time is getting close and if you want to help, here's your opportunity.

Things are really heating up! Our KLR keynote speaker, Attorney Dexter Lehtinen, has put up his own website, and it's a winner. Look it up at:
