..him to behave.

Hello everybody!!
I can see everything seems to be running as usual around here, and that's great!

We celebrated our third wedding anniversary on the third of October and this is one of the pics the photographer took of us.

Glad to be back!
God bless you all!
Patria

Ha! Teaching him early on how to behave is the key! LOL! Congrats!

well i'll be darned. now i'd have met you on the street and not had a clue. gerrit i'd have come closer on (maybe an accent or something might have confirmed him) but i had you pictured as having long black hair and kinda round. and you're both cuter than i expected. :)

Gerrit    Posted 10-11-2004 at 16:03:43       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hey DC,
I am flattered that you think Patria is cute - she is! - but when I see myself in the mirror, all kind of words come to my mind but nothing even close to cute... LOL

Patria    Posted 10-11-2004 at 09:54:57       [Reply]  [No Email]
oh goodness..gotta think about that "cuter than i expected" part..heheh, that might shake a bit my healthy confidence..or something like that.LOL!
My natural hair color used to be light brown, but when the gray ones bumped-in?, I went and made it blond..that way my old-age-granny-white-hairs won't show as much...:-)

So...DC, it's great to see that your captors are allowing you to get online.

BTW..Hi!!...to the hospital lurkers.:-)

Take Care!

Thanks for the well wishes DD, and to everyone too..now I'm going to bed. It's been really nice talking to you all again, although I haven't been too chaty today, not feeling a hundred per cent well, nothing that a good night sleep won't fix.:-)
We'll talk again tomorrow..take care!

Dang!!! Patria, you never did say you was a blonde bombshell... good heavens!!!
Congrats, and glad to see you're back online!!!

ron,ar    Posted 10-10-2004 at 18:38:33       [Reply]  [No Email]
yep, I would have never guessed blonde either. and yes bombshell is the correct word. And as far as Gerrit..looks as he seems here, smart with a fun side. They look like a match to me.

Gerrit    Posted 10-10-2004 at 18:47:58       [Reply]  [No Email]
Thanks for your kind observations, Ron..

You could have known how we look, though.
This pic here has been in the gallery for ages:

ron,ar    Posted 10-10-2004 at 18:55:32       [Reply]  [No Email]
I have been having trouble using the gallery for a while now. Mostly I see the red X.
While you were offline I had problems with my ISP server. I thought it was with my PC, maybe my modem maybe something else. My PC just ran slower and slower. To make a long story short (which I never do) I reloaded windows and lost all my email addresses and pictures and other settings. I found out too late it was actually the server. My PC now stays connected in any weather and seems faster that when it was new. Still see a lot of red x in the gallery tho.

Gerrit    Posted 10-10-2004 at 19:16:57       [Reply]  [No Email]
It looks like there are some problems with the gallery, yes.. The text with Patria's pics doesn't match.. Looks like a halfway corrupt database to me..

Didn't you back up your stuff before you reloaded windows? It's easy nowadays with the CD burner that almost every PC has and the cost of CD's is almost nada..

ron,ar    Posted 10-10-2004 at 19:27:07       [Reply]  [No Email]
no cd burner here:^(
I had never reloaded an OS before. I had upgraded several windows versions over the years and my "stuff" was always there when I got through. A lesson leardned the hard way.

Gerrit    Posted 10-10-2004 at 19:42:10       [Reply]  [No Email]
Oops..That's really too bad..
I would buy a CD burner if I were you. They're really cheap and you can copy all you important things to CD's..
I always install a second harddisk in a new comp and make backups on that second disk at least once a week. It's a little more expensive but a lot easier to maintain than CD's..

Patria    Posted 10-10-2004 at 18:20:13       [Reply]  [No Email]
Hey Melanie..wow it's been long since the last time we spoke. hm..so that's how you call a woman who hits her man? a bombshell? LOL

Glad to see you again!
Take Care
