Well, I want to thank you all for the support y'all gave me about the Fair ordeal. It turns out, there was never anything said to the Ag people. He just didnt want me doing the fair, so he lied and said they said something. He is not the person I thought. There was a lot of mean things said to me, I am sorry I ever had anything to do with him. I just want to forget about the whole thing and move on. THis is why I don't get too close to people. I don't like being hurt. Happens too much, everytime I let somebody in. I am going to go work in the back yard today and let off some steam and hurt so I will see y'all later. I am strong, and I will get over it.

Alright Lady, here's the way it looks up here. You obviously have something on the ball. We, here at this board know that. He must be afraid of women who have something going for themselves.
So, your feeling got hurt. You will get over that and someday be in a position to make him look foolish or stupid. I'm betting you got too much class to do it and then you will see in yourself what we see in you. A strong classy lady. His life, cheap. Your life, valuable.
Chas, betting on you, up here in Maine.

Kelly, Sorry to hear that Dewey turned out to be such a butthead. Didn't you say his dog is sick now? Maybe he did this to you because he's jealous of how well he see's you've done with Tip. Not trying to make excuses for him, just kinda thinking out loud here. Either way and for whatever reason it's his loss so go and commune with Tip and the chickens and it'll get better soon after you've been out in the sunshine and fresh air for awhile, I Promise. Take Care (((HUGS)))

Kelly, sorry your having such a rough time of this but if I could repeat to you what my nana always said to me "living well is the best revenge" so please show Tip and be proud of him and make that man see what a great oppurtuninty [sp?] he missed to work with a GREAT person and a wonderful dog.

Kelly, I suspect HE is jealous of your success with your Tip. Having you show your dog may just show him up. Ego can make people do mean things when they are shown up by someone they think is not as smart or good as they are. He undoubtedly is just a dog dealer, he sells them and then just as soon not be involved in thier lives after he gets his money. Chalk it up to one more experience of someone not living up to your expectations.

Who knows why he did it. I hate feeling bad, and I want to get over this. Because I held so much respect for him, what he said to me made me feel bad, and I hate that. I have never had some one do this to me. I know Tip and I did a good show, I know people weren't "laughing" at me behind my back and asking him why he had me in his show. He said if I contacted the ag people again he would sue me, because I got him in trouble, and to lose the fair job would compromise his income. He said he never wanted to speak to me or see me again. Thats fine, but why didn't he just tell me the truth, that he didnt want me in his show, I would have gotten over it. Thanks for the kind words and support Lenore. I am a strong person, but this was a real blow to me.

Is HE the person you got your dog from or did I miss something? Mark H.

KellyGa    Posted 10-16-2004 at 09:38:46       [Reply]  [No Email]
Yeah, he is the one I got her from, and I guess Lenore is right, he never wanted anything else to do with me after that. I guess asking me to do something with him at the fair three years ago was a lapse in his judgement, I guess.

That is sad some people are that way in the dog world. One of the reasons we never show our dogs again. Real funny how freind ships end in the ring from so called dog lovers! Mark H.
